In Detroit, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Michigan, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.

Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 9 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded internet & study cafes in Detroit.

Detroit is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Detroit follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Beautiful building..if you get a chance for a tour you will be amazed at the innovation that is happening

The history of Michigan Central's Book Depository Building mirrors that of Ford Motor Company's neighboring Michigan Central Station (MCS, aka The Station), and the surrounding Detroit area. Designed by "Architect of Detroit" Albert Kahn, the Art Deco landmark served as Roosevelt Park Railway Mail Service Annex from November 1936 until c. 1959. It functioned as Detroit Public Schools' Roosevelt Warehouse until March 1987, when the structure was gutted during a fire. The ruin was actually vacant almost a year longer than The Station. Ford Motor Company officially announced the renovated landmark's re-opening on April 25, 2023. The adaptively re-used mobility innovation workspace currently hosts the Newlab at Michigan Central headquarters. There's one thing about the renovation that should be addressed: the incused letters on the landmark's 1935 cornerstone (facing 14th Street at Marantette) need to be blackened. As is, the available historical information can be FELT -- but not read.

The book depository has been redone into a beautiful building to be used as an incubator and startup facility for tech companies supporting the new autonomous vehicle industry. If you get a chance to visit, definitely make the to.e to tour the facility.
